Honesty is the job.
Not just in how I work with teams and clients, but in how I approach every project. I start by getting clear on what’s real: What’s working. What’s not. What people actually care about. Good research isn’t about filling slides, it’s about uncovering the truths a brand can stand on. That’s where the story begins.
This grounded approach is especially vital for new startups striving to define their voice and purpose, or a mature brand aiming to shed outdated perceptions and realign with what truly matters to their customers.
Design and storytelling are how we distill those truths–not to spin them, but to reveal them. I’m not interested in polish for polish’s sake. I’m interested in clarity. In resonance. In work that feels grounded because it is.
And when you see your brand with clear eyes, your audience will too.

Honesty is a very expensive gift, don't expect it from cheap people.

Standing Out From the Herd
Born and raised in Southern California, then dropped into small-town Oregon, I’ve always felt that I have lived between two worlds. Never quite blending in, and never trying to.
I’ve been the black sheep in almost every room. Over time, I’ve learned to embrace the discomfort of not fitting into a mold which has now become my superpower.
I lean into the in-between, own what makes me different, and let that shape everything I create. I understand that there is always more to someone’s story.
I grew up a soccer player in a baseball family–always a little off-script, always paving my own lane. As a goalkeeper, I learned to thrive under pressure, find calm in chaos, and lead from the backline. Soccer didn’t define me, but it helped shape me. I’ll always be a fan of women’s sports, not just for the game, but for the movement it’s become.
This is my dog Oliver. He is perfect. Do I even need to say more???
What I am currently listening to? Obviously, there is TOOOOO much to list, but these are some of my go-to’s of the moment. Always on the hunt for new artists and sounds.
I love a good shoe. I’m not a sneaker-head, and you won’t find me camping out for the latest drop, but I do believe the right pair can change your whole vibe. I’m not afraid to invest in footwear that feels like me: bold, comfortable, a little unexpected.
My latest passion project is a tiny art gallery in front of my house. Like most passion projects I get to give it attention in waves. I love that it brings something unexpected to my neighborhood.

I used to do floral design. Playing with shape, color and texture is one of my happy places. Walking into a flower shop is never a bad idea.
